Ava and Cora went to Maggie's band concert...I'm so glad these cute girls are friends and there for moral support of each other!
Nativities
We went to the big nativity display at the Peoria Stake Center again this year. Four local churches do it together and it is hosted at the Stake Center. They really do an amazing amount of work to make the space beautiful and bring in a phenomenal amount of nativities. It's quite impressive!
We went with the Winsors and then had dinner at their house after. It was a great way to spend a December Sunday afternoon and evening together.
A delicious brunch
Greg and I have heard about a brunch place here in town that always has a wait, is supposed to be delicious, but is only open until 2:00. We have never made it there, but I finally went with a friend last week and it really was delicious! I am not always super impressed, but this was worth all the hype! Mmmm!
Madrigals Week!
Madrigal's week is a big deal around here! I was at the school each day from Monday thru Saturday...volunteering on 5 of the days, but also watching 3 performances. They do such a spectacular job! It was so fun to watch their shows and see Ava in her element.
Getting all set up...tables, risers, a castle, flags, stained glass window panels, carpet, greenery...oh my!
All ready! Now we just need to go to showtime! Here are a whole bunch of pictures from the 3 shows...
Our beautiful Ava.
It was a busy and wonderful week of music, friends, and fun.
Here comes the bride
Kayleigh's mom sent me this precious picture of Kayleigh and her sister playing dress up. Kayleigh is the bride. Just a few more months and she will get to reprise her role...here comes the bride!
So good to see
I saw a post that Al was on stage the other night. I was happy to hear that he was out performing, that's a good sign for sure. We really love Al and think of him often.
