Happy New Year!

We decided to have a bunch of friends over to help us ring in the new year!

We played games...

ate lots of fun food, enjoyed each other's company, laughed and toasted at midnight...

What a wonderful way to spend the last night of 2018 and ring in the NEW YEAR!!!

Beautiful flowers

One of my friends got me flowers from this florist for my birthday and ever since, I have always gotten all of my flowers from them.  I think they do a beautiful job and have such great arrangements.

Out with the old...

Ava has so many cute clothes, but after quite a growth spurt this past year, she had a lot that didn't fit her too.  This time, we bundled it all up and sent it to Holly and her girls.  I think they are really going to love the package!  It's always fun to pass along such cute things.

The love of Grayson

Grayson loves my kids - especially my boys and they love him back!

They played human jungle gym with him for quite a while and shared the love!

Brothers building!

Greg and I went to IKEA to get a small cabinet for the office for the kids' school books.  The desk tends to get completely covered and I wanted a place to put things away.  The boys took on the task to put it all together.  I love this picture!

Merry Christmas 2018

Christmas morning - just waiting for the kids to come down.

There biggest present is anxiously awaiting them too.

Here they are!

I love these kids...

and so does Duke.

Zach is always the most excited for Christmas morning...he's just waiting for the "go" to start opening stockings.

GO!

This is something I was really excited to give Zach.  He has always loved legos and I saw a website where you could have a figurine made that uses the face and hair of whoever you submit.  I took pictures of Zach and had his little replica made!

It looks just like him...it was a really fun to watch him figure out what it really was.

We got a new sweater for Duke too!

A blingy blanket for Ava - courtesy of Beth!

Duke loved all of the boxes...

And like always, I love how much love it flowing on Christmas morning.

With some silliness mixed in!

Greg got me this painting by James Christensen that I wanted.  I love it so much.  It's The Widow's Mite.

Even Greg got in on some of the posing!

New luggage for our soon to be college student!

Taking a quick break from presents to cuddle with Duke.

Ava found all of her soft treasures from the morning and put them all on at once.  She was a happy camper!

This is the moment the kids realized we are going to Alaska this summer!

It was such a mild December day...the kids, Duke and Greg all went out to play while I made cinnamon rolls and quiche.

The aftermath of Christmas morning!

Duke needed a big rest after a busy morning.

It was a great day - exactly how we like it - in pajamas, with each other, no phones, just games, food, fun and family!  Merry Christmas!!
