Teaching Kayleigh to cut...

This is her first haircut...it's always fun to teach someone else...

She did a good job and had a lot of fun while doing it - perfect!

The last reffing of the season

Andrew and Zach both reffed again this spring season and this was the last game before leaving to go out of town (the season will end while we are gone).  I came to pick up Zach and caught him still on the field and was able to watch him for a few minutes.  I'm so glad the boys have found reffing and it has been good to them.  I'm a proud soccer referee mom!

More flowers in bloom!

Oh how I love to cut the flowers from my yard and bring them in...pure happiness!

Time for a party!

Graduation is complete and now it's time to celebrate!  I invited all of the parents of seniors in our ward to join me in throwing 1 big party instead of having a bunch of different parties that everyone in the ward would be invited to.  3 of the families took me up on the offer and we combined to celebrate together.  It is sure nice to be setting up a party with 4 families instead of 1!  Let's start with some balloons...lots of balloons!

Now we are putting the balloons to good use!  They look great with the banners I had made...so fun when things start to come together!

We added some bounce houses...

And some big tents, and we are getting close to starting!

Andrew's space...

We got everything ready and had time to all go home, shower and come back together about an hour before the party started to do the last minute food prep.

Ready for guests to arrive...

And for them to eat!

Including cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones!

Most of these girls were helping all day to get ready, so they were definitely excited for the food to be ready, to pick their favorites, sit down and relax!  Here are just a few pictures from the party...

Cortney was helping me with our booth and we decided to get a poloroid camera and have people who came to see Andrew take a picture with him, sign their picture and hang it up.  It turned out so cute and the pictures make for a really fun momento from the party.

What goes up must come down...Ethan had a unique way of helping with the balloons!

These girls were a little more traditional in their approach.

It's unbelievable how much quicker it is to take down a party than to put it up...and thank goodness for that!  It was an amazing day and I literally wouldn't have changed anything about it.  We were able to make everything work and were totally blessed by the weather.  It was such a fun way to celebrate these kids and all of their hard work.  Congratulations Andrew - we are so proud!

Andrew's Graduation

This is the line to get into Andrew's graduation ceremony.  We got there about 45 minutes early, but it took 30 minutes to get it.  They hold the ceremony at the State Fairgrounds and it is needed when you are trying to get this many people in the same space.

Here are the kids starting to file in.  Andrew is in the very front, right corner - just before the plants.  We got lucky that he wasn't blocked from our view.  The plants were there as a staging area to take a picture with a diploma before walking across the stage, so they had a purpose other than blocking a few kids!

Starting to fill in...

This is what a graduating class of 1250 looks like!

Shaking hands and making it official!

This is what a graduating class of 1250 and their families sound like!  It was awesome.

After the ceremony we met up with Andrew and got some hugs...

A moment I won't forget!

Then we headed to Nada for a delicious dinner.  It was so yummy and so fun.

It was a wonderful ceremony and celebration.  I am so proud of Andrew and all of his work.  We love him and are excited for what the future holds.
